Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):

The article presents an attempt to study the interdependence of extremist manifestations and protest activity of LGBT communities. Protest activity as a form of manifestation of civic activity, its new methods and forms, gender and age and demographic characteristics of participants, as well as the factors that contribute to its manifestation and its consequences, are currently poorly investigated, especially in case of LGBT communities. The purpose of the current study is to analyze the factors that influence the interdependence of protest activity of LGBT communities and extremist manifestations expressed by them in response or against them. The objectives of the research are a brief analysis of the main behavior strategies of LGBT communities; the study of the problem of interconnection and mutual conditioning of extremist manifestations and protest activity of LGBT representatives. The study has made it possible to establish that the internal (internal) and external (institutionalized) forms of homophobia, the growth of protest activity among LGBT representatives and heterosexual society lead to manifestations of extremism and are interdependent.
