Abstract (English):
The article opens with a review of domestic publications on out-of-class learning in major disciplines. It offers a new method of assignment tasks that develop professional skills. Through theoretical generalizations and practical research, the author defined a complex of professional and methodological skills required by a teacher of mathematics and computer science in such activities as design, construction, organization, research, and communication. The experiment involved the discipline Databases given to students that major in Mathematics and Computer Science at the Kemerovo State University. The assignment tasks had several levels of complexity and problematicity. The method proved efficient in organizing the independent work of university students in major disciplines and developing their information and communication competencies.
